On Wednesday, the 4th, the National Library of Korea unveiled the K-Literature Rediscovery – The Epic of King Dongmyeong media art for the first time at the Open Plaza on the 1st floor of the main building. The Epic of King Dongmyeong was restructured into 8 video segments, extracting scenes from the narrative poem "Dongmyeongwangjeon," which is included in Dongguk Isanggukjip Volume 3, to depict the birth of King Dongmyeong, his heroic traits, and the epic structure. Additionally, the media art was enhanced with grand background music composed by music director Park Sung-il, known for composing OSTs for dramas such as Misaeng and Itaewon Class, making the experience even more engaging.

The unveiling event was attended not only by key library officials and distinguished guests but also around 30 library users and citizens. Before the content demonstration, a pre-performance was held featuring a traditional Korean music performance by the Lee Ju-hang's "Shipudo" team, combining daegeum music and dance. Additionally, a lecture on The Epic of King Dongmyeong was given by Professor Cho Hyun-seol from the Department of Korean Language and Literature at Seoul National University.
