Korea Related Materials before 1945
This category consists of research papers on Immanilbonbu, established to justify Japan governing Joseon, historical documents shedding light on the local histories of major cities and towns and the history of Manchuria in relation to the founding of the state of Manchuria, as well as materials on geography and localities (local history documents, guides, etc.) and the sociogeographic environment of Korea during the Japanese occupation period. Vast majority of the geographical documents were compiled by the Japanese and the local administrative authorities and organizations, and served as basic data during the colonization period.
