On June 23rd, NLK held 2022 Open Access Korea Conference (OAK) under the theme Open Access*, Open Data at Seoul Dragon City.
At the 2022 OAK Conference, presentations were given as the following.
-Libraries’ strategy for open access national policy establishment(NLK Chief Executive Suh Hye-ran)
-Research data sharing and reuse for open data(professor Kim Young-sik of Sungkyunkwan University)
-Data repository and academic information ecosystem outlook (professor Kim Sun-tae of Jeonbuk University)
-DGIST’s OAK institutional repository operation case and development plan for the spread of Open Science(librarian Choi A-reum of Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology
-The past, present and future of KAIST institutional repository (senior engineer Kang Sung-hee of KAIST)
NLK staff described “As this year’s OAK conference is held jointly with the 2022 International Data Week(IDW), an international event related with research data participated by over 1,000 data experts, researchers, entrepreneurs, policymakers etc. of around 60 countries around the world, it is expected that it will contribute greatly to the improvement of recognition of research data sharing and utilization.”
